Photos from the Walker-Johnson Wedding

Last weekend, I had the privilege to be the photographer for the wedding of two long-time friends of mine, the beautiful Racheal Walker and the dapper Kurt Johnson.

Up in North Yorkshire, the venue of The Crab and Lobster was an immediate treat. Far from any major town, the manor and restaurant are separated by lovely gardens and the quirky, eccentric interiors always keep your eyes wandering to some new, odd sight.

Photographically, I was lucky and the day went off without a hitch. That was a nice bonus since, in addition to being the official photographer at the wedding, I was a guest who was supposed to enjoy myself. I succeeded on both counts thanks to the lovely people that surround the happy couple. Everyone there seemed genuinely appreciative of the work I was doing to try to capture the big day, but it was truly my pleasure.

It was fantastic to see how well loved Rachael and Kurt are by their family and friends. From around the world, guests happily made the journey to witness their union and it was a pleasure to meet them all. I hope I was able to capture some of the joy that was shared on their special day.
